About Me

Beth Davis grew up on a farm in the Appalachian hills of Virginia. She developed her vivid imagination due to her natural creative spark and being surrounded by interesting things. Thankfully, her mother supplied her with plenty of crayons and sketchbooks, which fostered a great love of artistic expression. Also, a talent for storytelling (and being a little dramatic) runs in her family. So, if you put art, imagination, and storytelling all together - what do you get? The perfect recipe for illustrated children's books! 

Beth's first book, titled 'Lacinda the Lion is a Super Youneek Beast', is based on her experiences as a child. It's not always easy feeling different and these books aim to represent unique children and surround them with positivity! 

Currently, Beth lives in North Carolina with her wonderful husband and 2 plus-size dogs.

Fun fact: One of her dogs, a black Norwegian Elkhound named Bear-Quan, has been mistaken for a bear twice... scared the pizza delivery guy half to death!
